Tour 1 (1-2 days)
The Capital - Delhi

New Delhi - Old Delhi

Depending on the length of your stay, you can choose which sights you want to visit.
New Delhi: Humayun's grave, Raj Path with Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and India Gate, Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple, Connaught Place and much more;

Tour 2 (4-5 days)
The Golden Triangle - India's most famous sights

Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi

Sightseeing in Delhi (as described above, see Tour 1).
On the way to Agra you visit the magnificent tomb of Akhbar the Great in Sikandra. In Agra you can visit, depending on the length of your stay, in addition to visiting the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort and the Mausoleum Itimat-ud-Daula. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri you will travel to Jaipur, the 'Pink City'. Here you will visit the Palace of the Winds, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Amber Fort. Depending on the length of your stay, you can also visit many other sights in Jaipur (for example, the Nahargarh Fort or the Lakshmi Narayan Temple), before traveling back to Delhi. [back]

Tour 3 (2 weeks)
The splendor of bygone times - Rajasthan Tour - Pure Culture

Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Pushkar - Udaipur - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Bikaner - Mandawa - Delhi

Following the visit to the Golden Triangle (see Tour 2) your journey leads from Jaipur to Pushkar, a leisurely Hindu place of pilgrimage with numerous temples and ghats around a holy lake. After a stay in the romantic city of Udaipur you travel to Jodhpur with its magnificent Meherangarh Fort. In Jaisalmer, a fairytale desert-town, you visit the Fort, in which next to the Royal Palace the residential and commercial buildings of the old town are located. The last days of your trip you will spend in the Shekawati-region with its richly painted havelis. This region is still relatively undiscovered by tourism. [back]

Tour 4 (3-4 weeks)
Rajasthan Tour combined with Varanasi and Lots of Nature

Delhi - Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur - Bundi - Pushkar - Jaipur - Ranthambore - Bharatpur - Orchha - Khajuraho - Varanasi

On this tour you visit the sights of Rajasthan (see Tour 3 in inverse order). You visit the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary and the Ranthambore National Park (see Tour 6). Thereafter your journey continues to the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Via the very beautiful medieval city of Orchha you will travel to the architecturally important Temples of Khajuraho. They are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and they are famous because of their richness of (partly erotic) sculptures. Your journey ends in Varanasi (in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh), the most holy city for Hindus. After your stay in Varanasi you can travel further on with the train or you can take a plane. Or you also can travel back to Delhi via Agra with the car. [back]

Heritage Tour

Delhi - Pushkar - Jaipur - Bharatpur - Orchha - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Agra - Delhi

Sightseeing in Delhi (see Tour 1). After Delhi this journey first takes you to Pushkar, a leisurely Hindu place of pilgrimage with numerous temples and ghats around a holy lake. In Jaipur, the 'Pink City', you will visit the Palace of the Winds, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Amber Fort. In Bharatpur you visit the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary (see Tour 6). Via Orchha and Khajuraho (see Tour 4) you travel to Varanasi, the most holy city for Hindus. You will see the ghats along the Ganges and enjoy a boat ride at sunrise or sunset on the holy river. You visit Sarnath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. In Agra you visit the famous monument 'Taj Mahal' and the Mausoleum Itimat-ud-Daula. On the way back to Delhi you visit the magnificent tomb of Akhbar the Great in Sikandra. [back]

Lots of Culture and Nature

Delhi - Agra - Bharatpur - Ranthambore - Jaipur - Pushkar - Jodhpur - Udaipur

Sightseeing in Delhi (see Tour 1). On the way to Agra you visit the magnificent tomb of Akhbar the Great in Sikandra. In Agra you can visit, depending on the length of your stay, in addition to visiting the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort and the Mausoleum Itimat-ud-Daula. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri you will travel to Bharatpur. Here you do a tour of the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary by a bicycle-rickshaw. In these wetlands more than 350 bird species can be observed. In Ranthambore you visit the Ranthambore National Park. It is traversed by rugged cliffs, little lakes and rivers. On a safari in an open bus or jeep you can watch many native mammals and birds, and with a little luck you will also get to face a tiger. In Jaipur, the 'Pink City', you will visit the Palace of the Winds, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Amber Fort. Now your journey leads to Pushkar, a leisurely Hindu place of pilgrimage with numerous temples and ghats around a holy lake. After visiting Jodhpur with its magnificent Meherangarh Fort your journey ends in the romantic city of Udaipur. Here you can take a flight to Goa or you can drive back to Delhi by car. [back]

Heritage Tour with lots of Nature

Delhi - Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Mount Abu - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bundi - Pushkar - Jaipur - Ranthambore - Bharatpur - Orchha - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Agra - Delhi

Sightseeing in Delhi (see Tour 1). The following days you will spend in the Shekawati-region with its richly painted havelis. In Jaisalmer, a fairytale desert-town, you visit the Fort, in which next to the Royal Palace the residential and commercial buildings of the old town are located. In Jodhpur you visit the magnificent Meherangarh Fort and in Ranakpur the impressive Jain Temples are on view. Now the tour takes you to Mount Abu. This destination in the Aravalli range is famous because of its agreeable climate and beautiful landscape. On the way to Udaipur you visit the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort. The next stations of your journey are the fortress of Chittorgarh and Bundi with its mighty palace. The following route from Pushkar over Jaipur, Bharatpur, Orchha and Khajuraho to Varanasi and over Agra back to Delhi corresponds to the Heritage Tour (see Tour 5). On the way you additionally visit the Ranthambore National Park (see Tour 6). [back]

Hindu culture in beautiful surroundings

Delhi - Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi

In Rishikesh the Ganges leaves the Himalayas. Its water is still clear and turquoise. Hindu temples and ashrams line the banks of the sacred river. Haridwar is one of the seven most sacred cities for Hindus and offers an authentic Indian atmosphere. In addition to the religious ceremonies, a visit to the colorful bazaar is recommended, as this provides all kinds of articles for Indian prices. [back]

Himalayas Tour

Delhi - Chandigarh - Shimla - Manali - Dharamsala - Amritsar - Delhi

The tour takes you from Delhi to Chandigarh. This city was designed by the world famous architect Le Corbusier and so it is a very European city. Your tour continues to the Himalayas, to Shimla (approx. 2,200 m), the state capital of Himachal Pradesh, where the British-Indian government spent the summer months. Then you go to Manali with its traditional stone and adobe houses in a picturesque setting. In a stunning landscape the Buddhist-characterized Dharamsala is located, the residence of the Dalai Lama. Here one feels very close to Tibet. After Amritsar with its overwhelming Golden Sikh Temple you go back to Delhi. [back]

First the tour leads from Delhi to Chandigarh. This city was designed by the world famous architect Le Corbusier and so it is a very European city. The highlight of the trip is the Golden Sikh-Temple in Amritsar, one of the most famous monuments of India. [back]

Uttarakhand Tour - for Nature Enthusiasts

Delhi - Rishikesh - Haridwar - Corbett-Nationalpark - Ranikhet - Nainital - Delhi

The tranquil and relaxing tour takes you in the Himalayan foothills. In Rishikesh and Haridwar you experience authentic Indian atmosphere in a beautiful surrounding (see Tour 8). Your journey now leads to the Corbett National Park. It is the oldest National Park of India and also the home of elephants, tigers and leopards which you can discover on a jeep safari. Starting from Ranikhet you can enjoy breathtaking hikes in the pristine mountains. Before you return to Delhi you visit Nainital. This hill station is one of the most beautiful mountain resorts of India. In a charming landscape at almost 2,000 m you can enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayas. [back]
